itelligence AG generates best results in the history of the Company
itelligence AG, one of the leading international fullservice IT providers for SAP, has confirmed the positive development of the last few years with the presentation of its final figures for the past fiscal year. Revenues growth of 16.5% to MEUR 190.9 (previous year: MEUR 163.8) significantly exceeded forecasts, which were between MEUR 175 and MEUR 185. In the fourth quarter, the Company increased its total revenues by 16.8% from MEUR 47.0 to MEUR 54.9. Orders on hand rose to MEUR 150.3 by the end of the year (previous year: MEUR 117.4), an increase of 28.0%. The number of employees throughout the Group grew by 15% from 1,071 to 1,228 at the end of 2007.
Herbert Vogel, CEO of itelligence AG, said about fiscal year 2007: "This fiscal year really went excellently. We forecast a good 2007 at the start of the year – but we beat our original projections for revenues and earnings. All the employees in the Company played a crucial part in this."
The largest increase in revenues was in the Consulting area, which saw a rise of +18.3%. MEUR 113.1 was generated here in the past fiscal year (previous year: MEUR 95.6). Thus, at 59.2%, the Consulting area is still the strongest in itelligence AG. The Licenses area also posted growth of 15.5% to MEUR 23.8 (previous year: MEUR 20.6), as did the Outsourcing & Services area, which contributed MEUR 53.6 (previous year: MEUR 46.9) to total revenues, an increase of 14.3%. As in previous years, Germany and Austria were again the region with the highest revenues. A share of MEUR 96.3 (up 34,7%) was generated in these countries compared to MEUR 71.5 last year. Thus, this region accounted for 50.4% (previous year: 43.7%) of total revenues at itelligence AG. The Americas segment generated 23.9% (previous year: 27.5%), Western Europe 16.6% (previous year: 17.3%) and Eastern Europe 7.4% (previous year: 9.4%) of total revenues of itelligence AG.
Significant improvement in consolidated net profit and earnings per share
itelligence AG increased its net profit in accordance with IFRSs significantly from MEUR 5.5 in 2006 to MEUR 8.1 in fiscal year 2007. This corresponds to growth of 47.3%. Parallel to this, earnings per share increased by 44% from EUR 0.25 to EUR 0.36. Operating earnings (EBIT) climbed to MEUR 11.5 (previous year: MEUR 7.1), an increase of 62.0%. The EBIT margin thus improved from 4.3% to 6.0%. In the fourth quarter, the Company generated EBIT of MEUR 3.7 (previous year: MEUR 3.3).
As in 2006, cash flow development was extremely positive in 2007. At MEUR 14.7, cash flow from operating activities virtually doubled (previous year: MEUR 8.8).
Positive outlook for 2008
The new CFO Norbert Rotter is confident for fiscal year 2008: "We are assuming that we will generate sales of between MEUR 210 and MEUR 214 and an EBIT margin within a range of 6.2% to 6.4%. We also intend to continue growing more strongly than the IT services market."
