Secure connection for your mobile end user devices with it.x-mobile
The trend of using mobile end user devices such as iPhone, iPad, Blackberry or Android devices is becoming more and more apparent. So the question is: "How can we bring SAP data or entire IT processes to these smartphones and tablets securely and easily?" itelligence has developed a framework under the name it.x-mobile that meets these requirements.
Using it.x-mobile, it is possible to connect various end user devices directly to your SAP ERP system. The option to have a corresponding connection through the SAP NetWeaver Process Integration (SAP NW PI) is also possible. The product consists of the following two components:
- Connection framework on the back end system with connector, logging and device management functions
- User interface framework for the front end with player software, as well as support for native programming on various device platforms
Using these two components, individual business scenarios – for example from sales, service or personnel – can now be brought to mobile devices.
Mobile forms with it.x-forms
it.x-forms offers you a range of mobile forms to complement it.x-mobile. There is also the option of interactive Adobe forms for using iPads and laptops simultaneously.
This way, you can receive and work on individual visit reports from SAP CRM using x.forms and your iPad, for example. So an appointment can be planned in the CRM system and then sent via e-mail to the sales representative either ad-hoc or a day before the planned visit for instance. The visit report is therefore waiting in the e-mail on the iPad ready to use, which can then be opened with x-forms and worked on.
